White Water Canoe Coach

If you are a White Water Canoe Leader who wants to share your passion for paddling with others and help them to progress, then this training course could be for you. You need to have completed the core coach training and have been paddling in conditions recently to make the most of the training course.

We’ll look at applying the content learnt on your Core Coach training and bring it to life on moderate white water looking at the What to coach and How to coach it.

White Water Canoe Coach Training (2days)

A 2 day course where we’ll help you to plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, progressive coaching sessions and explore specifics to help you coach in the moderate white water environment (Grade 2/3) this includes;

Evaluating learner performance and needs
Planning and leading progressive sessions based on the needs of your learners.
Safety structure
Creating a enjoyable and motivating learning environment

At the end of the two days you’ll leave with an action plan to help you on your pathway to your assessment.

Assessment

I arrange assessments on a bespoke basis, supporting you through the process. This includes a Google meet meeting to discuss the assessment to ensure you have all the information and support you need before the assessment day.

The assessment runs over one day.

£200per person for two people presenting for the same assessment
