Master the best Whitewater rivers of North Wales!

Whitewater Kayak Performance Week

Dates: 7th – 10th December 2026 | Paddling Days: 4
Limited Spaces Available

Join Ollie Sandeman for a transformative 4-day performance week designed to bridge the gap between Grade 2 competence and Grade 3/4 mastery. This isn't just a guided tour; it’s a deep dive into the technical precision and tactical mindset required to run technical grade 3-4 whitewater with confidence, flair, and control.

During the four days we’ll be touring the whitewater Kayak classics of North Wales and developing your paddling with a low student-to-coach ratio allowing for a highly individualised experience, ensuring you get the specific feedback and "solid tactics" needed to level up your river running.

  • Highly experianced and active advanced coach- Ollie is a friendly and professional coach who has been paddling and coaching at an advanced level for many years and is regularly pushing his own progression .

  • Low Student to Coach Ratio- A week of highly personalised and individualised performance feedback and coaching.

  • Dynamic Venue- Based close to Betws we’ll chase the water accessing the best of the Dee, Llugwy, Mawddach, Vyrnwy, Glaslyn, Conwy and more.

  • Skill Level- Designed for Grade 3 paddlers looking to progress toward Grade 3/4.

  • Technical Focus- Precision techniques: power transfer, reading and harnessing the flow, trim, angle, and timing and safety.

  • Dynamic Logistics- Rivers chosen daily to match water levels and the team's specific developmental needs.

A Week Of Progression

We’ll be operating on a maximum ratio of 1:4 to ensure you receive dedicated input and personalised feedback which will help to build confidence and provide the skills you need to level up your paddling. This week will help you to refine your techniques, reduce your mishaps and to have the confidence and skills required to tackle grade 3/4. We will spend time looking at understanding flow so you work with it rather than fight it, the key techniques of power generation and power transfer, with solid tactics of momentum, angle, how we change the shape to harness flow (trim and edge), and timing that will enable you to move around the river more efficiently and with more precision.
