Canoeing at Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake)

Join us for a day canoeing on Bala lake.
Positioned between the Berwyn, Aran and Arenig mountains lies Llyn Tegid, also known as Bala Lake.
At over 6 kilometers long and 1 1/2 kilometers wide it is Wales’ largest natural lake.
Llyn Tegid is a site of national and international ecological importance and has been designated a
Site of Special Scientific Interest largely due to its special biodiversity.

ABOUT THE TRIP

The day is yours so whatever you want from the day we’ll facilitate it whether that be a quiet and relaxing tour of the lake taking in the spectacular views,
spotting the wildlife the national park has to offer whilst learning the strokes to manoeuvre your canoe with ease
or
Fun and entertainment for all the family with skills, games and an opportunity for a spot of wild swimming.
We’ll work to provide you with the best canoe trip possible.

We’ll meet at 10.00am and will finish at 4.00pm however these times are flexible and we can fit in with you.

We provide all safety equipment, top of the range canoes and Ollie’s guiding (highest level of canoe coach awarded by British Canoeing)

No experience is necessary.

PRICES

FULL DAY £75 per Adult, £55 per Child (16 & Under)
HALF DAY £55 per Adult, £45 per Child (16 & Under)

PLEASE NOTE

Minimum of three when booking a half day option or Full day rate will apply.
Minimum age is 5 years old
Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or legally appointed guardian
