Advanced Canoe Skills

Our advanced canoe skill days are aimed at giving you tactical and technical coaching and building your confidence in a grade three environment.

This course is for paddlers who are look to build confidence, consistency and refinement of skills in the advanced water environment. You will need to have already gained some experience on grade 3 rapids prior to this course.

The aim is to help you understand the environment and how to harness it to achieve the desired outcome. Looking at fundamentals of momentum, angles, trim and edge and building on your existing technical and tactical understanding.

We’ll explore venues in North Wales and head to a river that provides the best conditions for the day. This could be the Conwy, Llygwy, Mawddach, Vyrnwy or Tryweryn to name a few.

During the summer months we run this course as our Tryweryn Masterclass

We also run an advanced open water canoe skills course.

Cost

1 day- £120pp

2 day- £200pp

4 day course- £400pp

5 day course- £450pp

(Based on a minimum of 2 people)
